Yoga is for everyone, yet each journey is uniquely personal.
I encourage my students to find their own Yoga: one that meets you where you are to make you feel your best.
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
My path to Yoga
My yoga journey really started in 2018 at a time when I needed to get out of my head and into my body. Through Yoga I found a way back to myself, a grounding technique, the gift that comes from committing to a regular practice, and so much more.
Over the last 6 years I’ve practiced all sorts of asana yoga styles, from Hatha, to Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Rocket, and Kundalini. Today I mainly practice Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa.
In December 2022, driven by the urge to dive deeper into the practice, I flew to Northern India to do a Hatha Yoga Teacher Training course in Rishikesh (aka “the capital of Yoga”).
What is Hatha Yoga?
I teach Hatha Yoga, a traditional and accessible style of yoga that aligns movement and breath to create balance within.
Known for its slower pace, Hatha yoga is ideal for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. In each session, we hold yoga poses (asanas) for several breaths, encouraging stability, strength, and flexibility while fostering a deeper mind-body connection. This intentional stillness not only enhances physical benefits but also opens the door to self-inquiry and mindfulness. As one of the foundational paths of yoga, the benefits of Hatha yoga include reduced stress, improved posture, and greater inner calm—making it a powerful practice for overall well-being.
I believe that Yoga can and should be made accessible to all. I aim to do that by adapting the practice to individual needs to give you the space to experience for yourself the changeable nature of body and mind. My classes incorporate a blend of asana, pranayama (breath), and meditation.
